Based in Austin, Texas, Mr. Weichbrodt is a “Qualified Appraiser” under §170 of the Internal Revenue Code and has extensive business valuation and litigation experience, completing and reviewing over 1,000 valuation engagements across a wide range of industries.
Mr. Weichbrodt is one of the few business appraisers in Central Texas to earn the unparalleled Accredited Senior Appraiser (“ASA”) designation from the American Society of Appraisers. Greg is the past president of the ASA Central Texas Chapter.
He earned a BA in Economics from Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York in 1990, and an MBA — finance concentration, magna cum laude, from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois in 2000.
Mr. Weichbrodt gained considerable consulting experience by working for both large and small accounting firms before starting GRW Appraisal Services. He performed valuation and consulting services in industries ranging from professional services to manufacturing, distribution, and technology.
